Lady about town on a bike.
Another urbanist victory I’m claiming credit for. When I completed the summer camp survey, I said First Stage should include bus & bike information in addition to parking information. Well well well, look what’s in our “what you need to know before the show” email.

If you have kid(s) in car seats/booster seats and occasionally need to carry more people but don’t want a bigger car, get yourself a Ride Safer Vest that brings the seatbelt down to the kid. With family visiting, we have 3 adults + 2 kids in booster seats but can fit adequately in a Subaru Outback.

The priest just kinda laughed
The deacon caught a draft
She crashed into the Easter Mass
With her hair done up in broken glass
She was limping left on broken heels
When she said, “Father,
Can I tell your congregation
How a resurrection really feels?”

So you spend your Monday evening grilling chicken breasts or will your child eat a freaking sandwich for lunch?

It’s a legit criticism. From certain people.

(It’s just a one month new student yoga studio membership, but this is getting out of control.)

We’re out of eggs, and look, yogurt with fruit and granola is a perfectly fine breakfast I suppose, but it’s NOT AS NICE as eggs.

Last night someone who had been shot crashed a car in my neighborhood. The police taped off the street to investigate, and an impatient driver parked into a parked car while swerving around the police and the tape.

My politics is banning this from city streets.

Four years ago, I got my first ebike. Before that, I hadn’t owned a bike in a decade. I’ve since ridden over 5,000 miles. Happy New Personality Anniversary to me!

Checked out a new audiobook and now I’m spiraling.

I’m falling apart mentally, but at least the neighborhood coffee shop has set up a bed for the area cat.

I just feel like if your mother-in-law dies in the same year that your cat dies in the same year that the federal government shuts down, you should at least be spared from motherfucking lice.

I’m so tired of entitled East Tosa drivers blocking the sidewalk because their garages are too full to hold their cars. I have no interest in catching even a misdemeanor vandalism charge, but I can make their lives the tiniest mit inconvenient.

Really wanted to see Craig Finn tonight but there’s an opener and I was out until 10pm Monday so I fully intend to be in my PJs by the time Finn takes the stage tonight.

Heading to Chicago today (and also apparently my mirror is dirty).

Before her fall, we had a great bike ride to church with our 8yo and a friend from our neighborhood. She did nearly 7 miles before Sunday school!

People who oppose protected bike lanes oppose independence for children.
