So you can tell that the author is a fan of Studio Ghibli by reading this novel. Which is perfect because so am I. Omg the beautiful descriptions of this fascinating world are something else.

This book made me smile. And laugh. And groan at these ridiculous bois’ shenanigans lol. I love a college setting story (in part because they’re hard to come across) and this one being magical too was the cherry on top ❤️

I’m not really into romance books but romantasy is another story. I was rooting for my fave couple in this since their first interaction. I also really like the main character. He messes up a lot but he really tries to do right by everyone. And omg his fashion style is truly magical 🩷

Sometimes, it’s really nice to read stories made for younger readers. Especially the kind that I wished to have read when I was a kid.

I started this book because I wanted a fun and easy read. And it was. It had some popular tropes a fictional woman may face in thee olden days. Also solid, various depictions of women, intriguing fantasy element, and an ending that had me at the edge of my seat 🖤💜

I’ve got a soft spot for seemingly normal coming-of-age stories that have a splash of magic to them. I think lots of people can find the MC relatable for both her hopes and her flaws 💙🩵

Think Percy Jackson, but with Mexican-inspired mythology and the Gods live openly among the mortals. Their demigod children, semidioses, usually become Heroes with their cool powers. I like them all but I’ve got a soft-spot for Xio 🖤💜

My library finally got the sequel to “Can’t Spell Treason Without Tea!” Love that the # of lesbians got doubled lol, tho my fave couple is still the OG, Reyna X Kianthe.

It’s been a while since I read Iron Widow, so I felt a bit overwhelmed jumping into the sequel Heavenly Tyrant with its complex plot and 544 pages. But soon after I started the who is who and who did what came rushing back. Ended up bingeing it in like 2 days lol ❤️🔥
