I ran an experiment with our snickerdoodle cookies- baking as a ball or a disk. The disks had a better density and texture for packing into lunches, but the ball of dough gave that expected pretty crackle on the top I want in a snickerdoodle #cookie

Fun thing 🙄 that happens when I make bread for French toast- turning around to see my partner and kids silently eating it behind my back like a bunch of sneaky vultures.

When I know I’m going to use it this way, I triple the amount of honey I normally use in sourdough or double for yeast bread. 🍯

I was never good at the pretty soft smile we all tried to have when IG came out, but I honestly don’t need it anymore. At my age smiles from joy make wrinkles, they might be uneven, they might show your double chin, but they’re *real* and that’s so beautiful.

I probably shouldn’t have made grand plans just in time for the #tiktokban to happen. I guess I didn’t think it would really go through. For now I think I’ll stay here and YouTube, and eventually Neptune when it’s ready. #tiktokrefugee
