Totes, we want it both ways. The current tariff structure ignores both the capabilities and labor side of what it takes to make something. Tariffs only work if you have government support (education, union jobs, investments/subsidized companies) this administration is doing the opposite.

I am not saying every manufacturer will follow those guidelines of course. At some point it truly becomes a matter of semantics and what companies can get away with in terms of enforcement.

According to the FTC that one step has to be a "substantial transformation" for "Assembled In America" claims, the "final transformation" for "Manufactured in America" ones.

The "Made in America" label requirements are much more restrictive.

I would love to see a LoRa RP2350 Feather. The 2040 is great, but as you mentioned, not especially low powered. I plan to use it for a solar weather station.

I too am curious how this plays out. It may depend on how fast bluesky is able to scale from invite only to public access. Threads has the benefit of inheriting the Instagram user base.
