For cardioversion, I had them use the clippers on my entire chest. No way they were tearing those giant sticky pads off. I know about the little stickies getting ripped off without shaving.

It will all grow back. It will be like shaving a beard and seem weird to look at for awhile.

I know people have very strong opinions about THE POT. Do they ever. Worse than being a Vegan. That will piss off two groups who likely overlap.

I think you did a smart thing by quitting, and that's very hard for many. Look back in a year and see what you've accomplished.

You'll also find if you indulged in hidden salt (pizza is a curse I must occasionally endure), you're gonna pee soooo much the next day.

Once you finally kick your salt habit, you'll find foods are way over salted and are almost unpalatable. I can confirm these things by making changes to deal with my CHF as a side effect of a-fib. It's been 12 years. Now a little salt for flavor goes a long way.

I did my week in the hospital 12 years ago. If I don't take the pee pills, I get your symptoms. It's all related to my a-fib diagnosis. I had to change some acquired lifestyle habits, and it's for the better. I don't really notice so much now. I certainly pee a lot.

Sounds like you're dealing with congestive heart failure. I know they like to throw lots of things around initially, like transplant, but have they given any reasons for why you're in that state? Have they said a-fib or such? Water pills can keep you out of the CHF state, and life goes on.
