There are so many examples of all the great things we do as a species.

Really good article about the effectiveness of corporate DEI: www.npr.org/2025/02/03/n...
How corporate America got DEI wrong
President Trump is accelerating the attacks on diversity-in-business programs. But DEI experts say this may be the wakeup call big companies need.

Yeah my source did too, pre-pandemic, in the fresh market of a major location.

Inside source tells me the best place to hurt Target is their "soft lines" which is where they make most of their $. Home textiles, clothing, etc. Grocery in most markets is a loss from the getgo.

Good to know which stores you're targeting too. Most groceries, though, do not have these policies and are also not unionized. The UFCW represents 835,000 grocery workers. Employee-owned stores may also be worth supporting.

Speaking with my former grocer SO, there are no specific laws on stickers attached to merch as long as the info about price, weight, etc is not covered. Anecdotal so take with a grain of salt. Otherwise carry on 🎉

Why is that even better? Grocery stores barely meet their margins in a regular economy. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Producers of those products are also hurting due to ongoing issues with federal grants, bird flu, etc. The middle man (Tyson, for instance) is who you want to hurt. But this isn't the way.

Can these products (food, for instance) still be sold with stickers on them? Genuine question.

Went to your site but couldn't figure out how to access this content. Do you have a direct link? Just signed my daughter up for robotics in our community

There are other civic-minded youth groups too, including 4H, which is operated by state universities through the Extension system.

Can you add: start/support a Girl Scout troop? Girl Scouts has several badge programs that teach civic engagement, personal responsibility, kindness, and community service. Barriers to entry like membership dues can be handled with financial aid. The org is anti-racist and pro-LGBTQ.
