Last night I sketched some ideas out, and I am feeling positive about it. Lots of work to do, sand the benches, paint the benches, paint the gate, clean clean clean....but it will be worth it and also I will enjoy working in the back to make it a nice space for us all.

11 years ago. Early in the day. I was serious as well. So much pain in my head.

Now just over 21 months sober. No alcohol, no drugs.
I still think about doing it every day but I am slowly figuring things out. How to keep going with sobriety, how to care for myself, how to enjoy other things.

Firstly, Finnegan Shannon’s series ‘Do you want us here or not’ shows how frustrating it can be when there isnt adequate seating in art galleries. A reminder of how ableist and unwelcoming these spaces can be to disabled people.
