Thank you, I'm learning as I'm going! And I second that the game and the car converting hobby is so much fun. If you are building out of scrap materials and cheap toys it's also very low stakes and easy to get into. I can't recommend it enough!

No worries! That's such a long time ago, so no surprise it's a mystery what happened to it. I assumed all of the custom cars from the movie got dismantled after the filming. But it's super cool hearing some of what happened to the leading vehicle!

Wow, that's crazy! Having that standing out in the open must have been the talk of the neighborhood. I've never seen pictures of it outside of the movie. Do you know if it rusted apart and got scrapped, or if some collector bought it?

That's a super cool look! Beetles have such a fun style to them, and yours look very aggressive with those huge wheels on it!

The failed icon design makes it even better in my eyes.
