I’m surprised they only kept 5 WRs. I thought the Patrick trade made sense, but that they would now keep 6, especially since Hunter is theoretically only 1/2 of a roster spot on offense.

Is this a ‘just get a guy and put the 5 best out there’ or do you have a sense who they will try to upgrade? I feel like the needs are on the interior, but the players that high are tackles.

Curious how you think it would’ve affected Hard Knocks, and the season overall, if Saquan had gone to Baltimore and Henry had gone to Philly? Does it change the Ravens’ and/or Eagles’ outcomes and does it not being a rival make Hard Knocks not feel so damning?

I definitely think you have to find balance with someone who has the experience to help support you while you learn, but can stay forward thinking and adaptive. After a couple years, McVay replaced Wade Phillips with Brandon Staley for that reason.

But I also look at McVay when he started, he brought in Wade Phillips, someone who could completely handle their side of the ball and provide advice and support when needed.
