Yesterday the Israeli ambassador to the United Kingdom said that the state of Israel did not want regime change for Iran. Now the president has come out and said the opposite. As ever the Israeli spokespeople are all just full of shit.

Starmer said we weren’t involved in Israeli action. RAF refuelling flight went over Iraq, same route Israeli bombers illegally use to bomb Iran, as night those Israeli bombers were striking. Turned its transponder off to avoid tracking, they want to hide their role. We are taxpaying for this, brits!

Naïve. Neither side would be happy with that. Iran would be seen as capitulating, & Netanyahu has wanted this war for a decade+, been obsessed with it, as one of the few BBC news presenters with a backbone mentioned yesterday. A deal isn’t coming, it’s just one man & his ego shouting into the void.

Iran under international law has a right to defend itself, just a reminder before everyone says that about Israel who keep attacking first & have in this instance again. The below was made inevitable & now ordinary Israelis & Iranians & others will suffer. Deescalation I don’t expect is coming
