I just spent 36 hours in Downtown Chicago. Impeccably clean. Saw maybe 2 people who were experiencing homelessness. Zero uniformed police officers.

I did most of my sight seeing from 5pm-12am.

The conservative narrative on Chicago is so out of whack. Wonderful city.

This may be my new favorite photo that I've taken.

Uphill.
In the rain.
On cobblestone.
Between Trolley Tracks.
With child aboard.

Just biking across a city as part of normal daily life.

Most likely outcome is an 78 yo will live to 87.

But just by being president, it could be a few years shorter. www.statnews.com/2015/12/14/p...

"They are few" or "There are few"?

It's technically grammatically correct, but isn't it weird, @nytimes.com?

What can't I do on the bus?

Strike the Japanese flag?
Play a gong?
LARP as Harry Potter with a wand?

These once beautiful transit benches were in Everett Station before being swapped out for cold stainless steel chairs.

Now two of them are for sale for $250, or $500 for both.

Where should they go?

Shifting from income & capital gains taxes to tariffs to finance the government would be terrible for manufacturing, agriculture, etc., and a complete giveaway to banks, investors, info/tech, and other professional service industries.
