Just finished reading The Shattering Peace by @scalzi.com. Another banger in the Old Man's War series. Borrowed from my local library, but I will grab the trade for my shelves. I did get a lot of people asking what I was reading. I'm guessing the spine had something to do with it.

Went to see Predator: Badlands yesterday. The lovely lady is my gf @lynngardiner.bsky.social and this was our first movie to watch in the theaters as a couple (there is a whole story there for another time). It was a great movie that we both enjoyed. Looking forward to more Predator films. #moviesky

Went to see Predator: Badlands yesterday. The lovely lady is my gf @lynngardiner.bsky.social and this was our first movie to watch in the theaters as a couple (there is a whole story there for another time). It was a great movie that we both enjoyed. Looking forward to more Predator films. #moviesky
I have been enjoying Assorted Crisis Events writren by @denizcamp.bsky.social with art by @ericxyz.bsky.social since issue 1, but issue 6 that came out this week was just amazing. It was an emotional journey that felt so real it had me tearing up, angry, sad, happy, basically all the feels. Read it.

Went to the Albany, CA #NoKings #protest this evening with @lynngardiner.bsky.social, and it was a great experience with all of the fellow peaceful protesters.

Google Maps changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of america, and you can create a label to fix this max level of stupid for yourself. It's not permanent, but it makes it less dumb on your end.
