Founder @ https://ombre.ai | Excited to make software tools for data professionals. | I code way too much. Modular Synth nerd. On the weekends I'm either cleaning the garage, or making a fool of myself at the driving range.
I've also been working on a `Path` implementation in #WebGPU. Still some literal rough edges. Currently working through miter and line joins. Lots more to do!

Man, Getting text to render cleanly in #WebGPU has been a real challenge. Ended up using a SDF font map, and ALOT of tweaking. The final key was using `fwidth`. Pretty happy with the current result.

Been learning #WebGPU fragment shader rendering using SDFs. Getting text to render was...a challenge.

AI chat is coming soon to Ombre! It's not just "talk to your data". My aim is to have it be more a tool that you want to use, very much in the vein of "cursor for data science".

I can’t get over the clip art menagerie that is my pizza box.

Pro Tip: Chicks totally dig when you text them in the style of a classic Regency novel.

Annnnnd…..we have life! Had to rip the whole thing apart, clean and recondition everything. Still cranky, but it records and plays back!

I love crazy thrift shop finds! Got this Mantel 301 Japanese tape recorder for $30. Needs some love, but finally have something to try out tape echo with.

ombre.ai now supports Plotly graphs! Was a little tricky getting the resizing working. Matplotlib/Seaborn are next.

What other Python viz libraries should I support?

I Thought this pie chart displaying the number of songs per each Beatles album was cool.

Finally got around to adding a (simple) rich text editor node to Ombre.

When I first started working on ombre.ai I needed a way to generate a basic project name, so I just combined a random article/adverb/adj/noun together. The names are odd, but sometimes look good. However lately they felt...dark.

I've really been enjoying messing with different curve functions on Ombre.

Pickup this bad boy at the thrift job. Never really tried my hand at circuit bending, but maybe now is the time...
