We named our cat Toonces. He’s no longer with us but he was a sweet boy. We never let him drive because he wasn’t listed on our insurance.

This is why I never get to bed early. It takes him so long to decide to sit with me and then I don’t have the heart to disturb him.

We found these organizing the laundry room at my grandparent’s house. At some point, my grandmother started labeling everything she bought and sometimes including codes for stores. The S might be Shaws but is more likely Spags. No idea the age on the other two.

I was there in 2012 and it wasn’t in great shape then. It would be incredibly expensive to make it habitable again. I imagine a lot of the plumbing has been disconnected.

This was my Hazel. After she was diagnosed with kidney disease, we made her a private cat suite in our bedroom/bathroom away from the much loathed other cats, trying to make her last few months as stress free as possible. She lived 7 years and outlasted both our younger cats.

I do have the other holidays. The fall ones (that they didn’t do this year) are my favorite. I’ve been collecting them since maybe 2016? These were some of my fall guys.

Always happy to find another bird person. It gives me the chance to tell my family “see, it’s not just me!”
