At it's absolute worst, there were moments in this game where it felt like a substantial amount of the game was designed by a modern AI like Chat GPT. Look at these characters.

And this is after 80 hours. This is after me spending half a year playing every game in order from the beginning. This is me right at the finish line of the game just quitting, because the experience was so fucking shitty and awful. I just grinded this game out of obligation, but I can't anymore.
