Minnesota is the canary in the coal mine. The rest of the country is going to have to deal with what Minnesota won't. This is a test, and it's going to be worse when it reaches the rest of us.

He needs to stand up. Many Dems are seeing him as weak, and we'll have to deal with what you guys in Minnesota won't...and it will be much worse when it gets to us!

The only example you provided that fits the description of non-violence prevailing against standing armies with guns, is India, and Gandhi’s NV strategy was not, by itself, the event that ended British occupation. The British left when they concluded they could no longer rule India safely or cheaply

I had to do a little research. The non-violent approach has never worked against armies that seek to oppress the people, not on large scales.

If I lived in Minnesota, I would demand that you use the National Guard & Police to keep people safe. If this was ISIS, you would be brought up on charges for inaction & not protecting your people. Nothing is different.
