The majority of people that voted in the US care not about oratory skill. Indeed, it repels them. Not putting together a sentence is now a qualifier for leadership.

And that all sounded a bit trite but I shout this from a small underserved (a word I am now not allowed to write if I want federal funding for the bridges and stream restoration work we do side by side with our communities) place in WAY north rural New York. We need to start simple with saying no.

His desire is to make each of us back down, quit, or hide. Keep on keeping on. Follow your truth and ethics. Say no when it needs to be said. It’s hard to not be silent in the face of such thuggery. We can’t be silent.
