Super late but we use Streamlit, Github Pages with leaflet/plotly code in R or Python, and Shiny. All are pretty great but we've found the first two to be the most flexible.

So far, not that I've heard in the applied side of things, at least when it comes to public facing results. That said, more journal articles do tend to be focusing more on that over time, which is a good sign!

Oh, yes, YLE does a great job on it as well. We were thinking more a mutual aid, direct community aid involvement angle, but noted!

Honestly, decent odds it's just racism tied into a neat little bow, or the fact that communities came together in mutual aid. I recall seeing plenty of BLM folks wear N95s and self quarantine before and after protests, doing near everything right. Strange how often that is left out, eh?
