Confronting the significance of minutiae until I've decided I want some Taco Bell.

Emotional attachment to specific outcomes breeds strife.

Talk at me.
I finally understand Worcestershire.

For real though, I read wor ces ter shire, it's worce ster shire.

My brain insisted I was reading 4 syllables but was being told to pronounce 3. Now it makes sense.

I think my dad's biggest spot of pride for me lately as a 39 year old man was that I used his free McDonald's biscuit sandwich on the most expensive one, and then won another biscuit sandwich from it.

Please do yourself a favor and eat here if you're on the far north side of Chicago. This food is amazing. The warm pretzels taught me I could still be impressed by food.

Hey, how come no one combines the apple pies with the caramel sundaes from McDonald's for makeshift apple pie a la mode?

I like to believe Cotton-Eyed Joe and Rasputin were the same person in spirit.

I went to order a medium value meal from McDonald's and the large was ten cents less than the medium. No coupons.

Which sucks because I only tried to get the large to get my order over $10 to use 20% coupon, after the medium was $9.99. How the fuck did McDonald's win this one?

I just asked my niece what she thinks and she told me "nothing and Oreos"

I've never been so proud

What says more about a person: their choice of shoes or their choice of phone case?

I just realized there are books out there (1984 specifically) in which I would likely retain more details from it had I read the Wikipedia entry rather than having actually read the book like I did.

I always felt like the stylized D in Disney looked more like a backwards G and I just accepted that that backwards G was pronounced "D"

I used to think heresy and hearsay (misspelled as heresay in my head) were two spellings of the same thing, like gray and grey

I'm insecure about the thought of putting in no acknowledgement of this app then after a month coming back and hoping for any kind of... Meaningfulness? Yeah that's the right word.

Lol proliferated as a defense mechanism by millennials insecure about other people suspecting they might not be feeling completely awesome about the person they're talking to.

Just like previous generations being critical of ending sentences with prepositions.

I can't figure out how to say this correctly. We set expectations that we know things. We feel comfort in the security that our experience is consistent with reality, but that's only true for the instant it happens. If we remain content too long, eventually reality shows us the error of our hubris.

For better or worse, AI is making a lot of people aware that they are not special. We can impose special-ness upon ourselves and lives, but the universe remains indifferent. Most of not all human qualities are replicable.

This is in response to some high profile writer getting story ideas from it.

There's just no accounting for existence and the world we've made of it. I'm not elaborating, I just had a really weird customer service experience and extrapolate that on the world.
