its bad enough that you dont really own digital purchases but now you cant even make digital purchases the gaming industry is shifting to a digital rental model because its more profitable and less consumer friendly.

Just listened to this episode and I wanted to say there is a modern RPG doing the "prerendered backgrounds as environments" thing to great effect TL: Fantasian Neo Dimension a fantastic Mistwalker developed JRPG that I highly recommend

i dont get why they made tifa even slimmer in the remakes than she was on ps1. if anything they should have made her more buff considering shes a brawler
