What advice would you give constituents of NY-8 who unhappily understand the argument not to endorse, but are desperate for someone to primary Jeffries? It feels like time to at least be coming up with alternatives to Osse—hoping that he’ll run without the endorsement is too speculative for comfort.

The choices to (1) give the source polls different colors despite also labeling them in the legend and (2) make those colors red and blue in a graph about politics really tend to interfere with clarity here

I appreciate this information! As a voter, my first instinct was “why would I vote to bless past illegal construction?” But if environmental groups say this is the best option as things stand today, I will vote “yes” instead of casting the spiteful “no” I had been considering. 👍

Grateful to see this articulated. It also seems to me that hypocrisy is catnip for certain liberal and even institutional elements, such that it gets them spun around the axel, neutralizing them as they shout about how “if only everyone could see the hypocrisy, the fascists would surely collapse.”
