Horned Champion Every warrior who becomes a horned champion suffers the Rite of Becoming. The candidate strips off all clothing, dons a blindfold, and then marches off into the deepest woods. At some point later, the Horned King finds them. If worthy, the Horned King has its way with them. If not, they never return. Bloodied, bruised, weakened, and filled to the brim with divine seed, they transform to adopt their god’s likeness. All horned champions have sharp antlers growing from their foreheads, eyes that shine with green light, and whorls in their skin. They say nothing as the god fills their minds with strange visions of being wild animals hunting prey in the woods. All distraction falls away in battle, though. They fight with singular focus to kill their opponents. Wild Beasts - a pair bloodthirsty human fanatics posing on a rocky outcropping at night under the light of the red moon. Below, we see the lights of a town.
