If I thought I was a “distraction” that didn’t deserve to use the right bathroom, I don’t think I’d have the confidence to run for Congress.

After years of getting my doctor to take me seriously, months of waiting for my appointment with a specialist, half a dozen rounds of labwork, and a couple deeply invasive diagnostic procedures, we’re ready for the most important part of the process: seeing if my insurance will pay for treatment
