Juneau Ridge Race today! it was super hot, but also very clear with some stunning views. Not clear on exact race time but somewhere around 3 hours. 45 minutes.

They are probably just having maintenance issues by my low consequence conspiracy theory is that Eaglecrest isn’t updating the initial webcams you see so people don’t realize how dire the lack of snow on the lower mountain is…(though you can see it in the updated third image!)

I worked in Antarctica for the US science program and it’s alarming to think about these cuts as it relates to the program and maintaining the protections of tbe Antarctic treaty
