I was prompted to share a view of my studio on an artist community I am a member of. I figured I'd share it here as well. #artstudio

It's a funky little building that the woman who lived in our house prior to us built, to be her studio. It needs some work but I do love it.

I can sense the potential for a greater field of existence but never quite get there to tap into it. We each have our own window of perception or personal reality and this feels like, at some symbolic level, what the view might be for me.

Trump thinks canceling greenhouse gas reporting means no one will know how much CO2 is being emitted.

But Trump is wrong.

Thanks to satellites and aircraft, anyone can see who is polluting, and how much.

Here are the 5 largest CO2 plumes in the US.
No surprise: All are coal plants 🏭

Another obstructed, directed or encapsulated view through structure. Something about the sky, the smooth expanse of blue, knowing what it is, the scale, feels like both a limited and limitless field.

Emerge, welded steel, powder-coated, 2024

It's not a color I would have initially thought to use, but I really love how it blends in with an unusual (for me) lack of contrast. As the title suggests, it feels like it is very gently emerging from the landscape.

Rise, welded steel, powder coated, 2024

Another sculpture from the commissioned series. I need to get another shot of this one, at some point. It’s form shifts and changes as you move around it.

For 24 hours @booker.senate.gov laid out a detailed, damning, and critical narrative of truth, history, politics, morality, humanity.

What will you do?
