Today she exclaimed how “COOL!” it is that Tx schools will be teaching Bible stories. I’m really afraid I’m eventually going to say something and get fired.

My coworker constantly talks about how she can’t wait for the the lord to come down and take us all. It’s maddening.

Yeah I don’t know what the point of the preliminary vote is. You’re right, it’s not truly optional when so many schools are struggling financially.

I may have misunderstood but I thought the NYT article said it was a preliminary vote but the same outcome is expected on Friday. It also said legislators are expected to retry forcing classrooms to display the 10 commandments. So there’s something else to look forward to I guess.

The NYT article also says they’re expected to try forcing public-school classrooms to display the Ten Commandments again as well

Nevermind I spoke too soon. They did vote for it.

I think I got some misinformation. My bad. They’re still hearing testimony. Sorry about that. I don’t have a lot of hope though

I see. I guess I was misinformed. I heard they voted this morning. Well I don’t have a lot of hope here but we’ll see today I guess.

Plus the people who can afford a Tesla or Cyber Truck aren’t going to be all that out out by tariffs

They’re not happy about anything. They’re biggest bunch of sore winners I’ve ever seen.

Has anyone heard an update on this? They were supposed to vote today but I’m not seeing any news about how it went. I mean I’m sure I won’t like it but I still want to know.
