Drew a cute cake! Then started thinking about all the food restrictions my daughter and I have, and felt mopey and sarcastic and wrote all our dietary restrictions on top of it 🤪 This one goes out to anyone with annoying food restrictions like this!

My 6 y.o.’s book of the week - Louis Sachar’s WAYSIDE SCHOOL series. I loved this SOOO MUCH as a kid - happy she does, too.

It was a sweltering 96F (35.5C) yesterday - and today is gross and dreary outside. It’s the time of year when it feels like it could be any season - so I went with this sad little winter scene. Very Home Alone 🤣

My 6 y.o. and I are both huge Mary Blair fans, so this weekend we checked out the Mary Blair: Midcentury Magic exhibit at the Walt Disney Museum. More than 150 artworks and historical photos; we loved it 🩷 Runs thru 10/5 in SF, highly recommend it!
