One argument is that human remains should be 'returned/reburied' when research has finished. I am aware of some that were excavated over a century ago which are now being studied in ways that could have been imagined then and can add immensely to our knowledge and understanding of them as people.

Go away and read what they said. Your use of the word 'should' instead of the word 'must' might give begin to give you a clue as to the mistake that you are making. then read the full judgements (not the biased reporting) of the two recent cases on this matter. It always helps to learn stuff.
