It's astronomically expensive to see a dentist which is prohibitive for the many and discouraging in general. My last trip to the dentist cost me over £1000 which was eye watering.

It's not the fault of your members per se, but the cost of private dentistry as you know is prohibitive for the majority of people in this country. That has to change or the situation will just get worse and ultimately more expensive for the government as more people end up in acute care.

It's the what is that mysterious transaction for £x and immediately googling some obscure payment reference and then realising there's a Reddit post with a hundred other people thinking the same thing! :)

I just don't understand how your average republican can stand for this. Surely memories of past glories (real or imagined) trumps (sorry!!!) this pivoting to Russia? I thought they were the bad guys? At least that's what the 80s taught me!

The guardians how ordinary people are reacting to the budget is illuminating. Stroud resident who is thinking of moving in with parents if she's charged an extra £50 for Ev per mile has just got a higher rate job and might buy a house. It's the upside down world isn't it!

The palm on her right hand is dotted with blue ink. It's as though she's been working herself into a fit of rage with the end of a biro. It's snide condescending nonsense.

Also hard to be altruistic if you're from a generation that is being shafted left right and centre.

That's because there is a pervasive attitude from wealthy people that success is driven primarily by hard work rather than networks that facilitate and entrench inequality as well as a liberal sprinkling of inherited wealth.

I found it quite reassuring given the 16-17 we had last week. Seasonably reassuring!

Wow they changed the roof!!!!

I saw him in QT this week and was more than a little concerned for his general wellbeing. He looks deeply uncomfortable spouting what I can only assume he knows is BS.

I wonder if people will reflect whether Kier is really as bad as people imagine if all the worst people are crowing about it 24/7!?

I was once told by a contractor that it was perfectly normal for the traffic restrictions to be set up by one company and zero co-ordination between them and the people delivering the ground works. This was completely normal and not an outrage! :)

Are we heading to our version of the CDU and Greens!?

Perhaps as a show of good faith they could stop bombing their neighbours?

Surely a little level sensor / accelerometer would be useful to assist in proper parking. Or for say giving you a boost up a steep incline or slow you down on the way back? The abandoned bikes / scooters are a menace.

Why can't they go back to the foreign office part funding it? It was after all extension of British soft power overseas. A embassy in every transistor radio or some other fluffy stuff like that.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
September 27, 2025 at 6:18 PM
Perhaps you could give it some trail mix or a carrot as a thank you for a days hard service!

Just like it but more soothing.
September 5, 2025 at 4:55 PM
I recommend some camomile tea.

Is it me or are flippant comments / insults getting a tad more sinister lately?

Failed seems right as I can't quite bring myself to believe in organised conspiracy given that most people seem unable to wrestle themselves out of make believe paper bag.

This was genuinely the tonic I needed from the frothing madness of this mornings press conference.
