It's not because they spent money, it's more about when. DD's situation is different cause they made those big signings when disc golf was still in the pandemic boom and there was a misguided view that sales and interest would continue, and that would make those big contracts worth while

At a time when many disc golf companies appear to be struggling or at least in a down turn, Discraft looks to be in a better position than ever. Great to see Cale on the team there!
