It's even worse than I expected. "Synonymous with the phrases ‘How to Get that Job’ and ‘See You at the Top’, Sarina’s philosophy is to constantly challenge the status quo, think differently, exceed expectations and deliver with speed and urgency." Uh okay.

Ah Diane Keaton. Fabulous in her white turtleneck era. Before that, domestic stories that seemed conventional but were sharp as hell. Iconic as Annie Hall, hilarious in LOVE & DEATH, SLEEPER etc. Powerful in THE GODFATHER & REDS. So successful yet always seemed like an outsider. Was that the genius?

The officials noted this differed from past experience where detainees would be deported after 72 hours regardless of whether they signed a waiver. Guardian Australia understands the waiver required detainees to acknowledge they had sought to illegally break Israel’s naval blockade on Gaza. At least one member of the flotilla who did not sign a waiver has been released, sources have said.

So I heard back from my super company re whether they are investing in genocide profiteers. The answer is: yes, a little bit, but we have to do so to make you money. And, if you want you move your money to a different product, you can. So what’s my next move here? How do I get them to care?!

Some useful analysis here from Lucy MacDonald. The differences between Labor and Liberal here are still worth noting (eg. Labor will not sell off as many assets) but they are vanishingly small. This is *not* a healthy political system.
