I can't believe I grew up watching that movie so much and now she's seen my art. 🤩

I feel like TV, games, and indies are where all the good stuff is these days -- Bear McCreary, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Ramin Djawadi. We also lost a great when James Horner died.

You're welcome and thank you again, a million times over! I'm so happy to hear she liked it, too. :D

Okie dokie! I will use the form!

Do you still have my address from last year? :3

Man, those toilets are tricky!! Though now that the plumber has come and gone, I feel a little bit better because I did execute the actual repair correctly ... but my shut-off valve was janky as hell and that's what was causing the problem. Anyway, yes, lesson learned, and nothing ruined, thank god!

Oh goodness, poor baby, but that picture is too funny. She looks like she’s seeing whole new dimensions.

Yes, I think it’s worth saving for the future! And thank you, he’s currently swollen but zooted up on the good stuff. 💖

Oh yes! That’s a good name for it! And you’re welcome, I think you can find a proper PDF for printing if you search for “University of Colorado feline pain scale”.

Haha I had a very similar thought!

Oh dear, oh me, oh my, their expressions- !! What a treat after a stressful day!
November 12, 2025 at 5:38 AM
Oh! It's good you put that off given the heart murmur then! And I'm glad to hear that the tooth is holding steady! The surgeon said it really is just random how it progresses. My poor guy basically had two teeth left on the bottom, all the others had been reabsorbed down to the root.
November 12, 2025 at 12:48 AM
btw the surgeon sent me home with a printout of this, 1) in all my years of cat ownership, I've never seen anything like it! very helpful given how cats hide their pain! and 2) poor scrungly baby

Condolences to your cousin! My dude is getting close to five and he's down to about four teeth, too.
November 11, 2025 at 11:49 PM
that is very true, I hadn't thought of it that way (or absorbing teeth as a treat loooool)
November 11, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Unfortunately, what's happened with the majority of his lower teeth is that they've been reabsorbed down to the root, and the root is in there festering with bacteria and whatnot. He had to go to a surgeon because she's gotta get down in there and get 'em out.

seems like something evolution should have sorted out imho!!

I guess???? I was surprised that the doctor said he can keep eating (gumming?) dry food; she said it's really only a problem for outdoor cats when it affects the canines, since they need those for defense/hunting.
