It’s a tough day considering we had Quinn Hughes to evaluate long term at the 2018 WC with Blash as his coach and passed on him.
I think back to the 2024 draft, Yzerman and Guerin on the phone to move up to 12th to snag Buium. What if Steve had gotten that deal done.

My other favorite stat is Kasper having ZERO assists in the 25th game of the season. Absolute disaster.

No worries my friends, I’ve been told Kris Draper is scouting a hard nosed 200 foot player to draft at 13, who despite the lack of production, Wings brass sees high end skill translating at higher levels.

He’s left handed, and that particular play could have definitely benefited from a guy not playing his off hand position. Really strange they’ve gone with 4 RHD

Would love to listen to Yzerman & McLellan talk postgame. Steve needs to do something to shake up this team. It’s well past time now. His roster is extremely flawed.

I really hope this motivates Danielson, Mazur, Ammo and MBN. They have the opportunity to either make the team or displace current players 40-50 games in. Honestly it’s time to see all the drafted players we claim to as a great collection of talent

Really interesting data. I think what seems off for Detroit fans this season is the amount of desperate defensive zone clears that technically aren’t even dump-ins to the opposing team’s zone. This team gets hemmed in their own zone way too often for long stretches.
