Ugh. I miss old Twitter. Doomscrolling there was at least entertaining and informative. There was camaraderie. This app is no fun anymore. My feed is a random, boring mess. And the “trending” list is nothing but sports, I literally could not care less about something.

Really missing my dog today. She’s somehow been gone 3 weeks now. It still feels like such a weird void. I keep expecting her to be there. I miss her so much it hurts, even tho she got soooo old and stinky. She was the best girl. I love you, Dottie Doo. I miss you.

This was my child’s teacher’s response in their yearbook, celebrating being done with masks. Meanwhile I was terrified for my immunecompromised child, and another in the class with such severe asthma, the lone maskers. Other kids’ smiles mattered more. And she was pregnant, but yay for unmasking. 😣

Just saw a rainbow around the moon!!! 😍

There were multiple rings of light around the moon and the outermost one was a RAINBOW!
Sadly it doesn’t fully show up in the pic, I tried to get another one but the clouds shifted and it was gone.

A live version of Bulls on Parade came up randomly on Tidal. I looked to see when it was from - the 2000 DNC. I stood there in disbelief, and dare I say….rage, that 24 years later THIS is where we are right now. And how many of my fellow GenX-ers were there that now literally chose The Machine.
