Sometimes a plan allows for a decoration… and that decoration makes me think to myself “I can add some extra glaze because there is a lot of safety here!” and the glaze takes that as a personal challenge. So close to disaster!

Hoping my tests tiles are out of the kiln today so I can figure out what this piece might look like once finished. Looking for a glaze that will
A. Add color
B. Break nice on the carving texture but
C. Not completely obscure the underglaze.

I don’t ask for much, just… you know, everything.
