I think honestly, the dev's think of alternate playstyles rather than the weapons role, I think with kits they want to open up playstyles rather than enhance the playstyle that the weapon already has, to fix this i'd just try to make both strong rather than one being weaker, very hard task to do tho

ive mentioned maps alot already but just add more routes and creative/practical ways to get to mid imo

honestly i dont have a issue with returning maps and kits, especially if its ones that are cool, I think they for sure over did it in s3, but the reference ones they brought back were really cool!
i'd fix it by maybe doing 3 or 4 (depending on how many main weapons there are in a class,)

for open, the only issue i have with it is the teams thing, just bring back league lol
but for like open as a concept, i think its supposed to be all skill levels? or atleast a broader way of doing it,

I honestly, dont think this is an issue, and its kinda a straight forward fix to add more maps, but honestly I think splatoon 3 has enough maps, It has more maps than s2 albeit by literally 1 LMAO (not counting shifty stations)
