The Brigid Alliance has always specialized in logistical and travel support, but since the Dobbs ruling, people are being pushed farther into gestation and farther from home. Paying for procedures has become even more challenging, especially for later abortion patients. ⬇️ (4/5)

Some clients, even after traveling hundreds of miles and securing funds from organizations, still arrived without enough to cover their care — leaving clients, clinics, and funds scrambling, & sometimes forcing people to return home without their abortion further delaying their care. ⬇️ (3/5)

Since January, we’ve supported 200+ clients through the Last Mile Fund, on top of booking and paying for transportation, lodging, meals, and more. Most clients traveled from the South, and their travel and procedure costs averaged $4,137. ⬇️ (2/5)
