Decided to try doodling (drawing without a guideline) since I saw a thread saying that it might be a good idea to stop using guidelines after getting experience drawing with them.

So try to I do gesture drawings every day. Every Sunday, I do some figure drawings and try to draw Mia without using guide lines if I have any available time left.
Have a Mia I drew in under 5 minutes, it still blows my mind to find people who can draw without guidelines

Decided to try and give colored pencils another try. I tried to use a lighter color for the highlight and put that as the first layer. I'm not sure if I'm just bad or my colored pencils are crap, but they're not blending well. I should also probably practice shading
