I’m so glad I checked the Humane Society’s lost pet portal a year ago and saw this guy. He was waiting for his owner to claim him, not knowing that they refused to come. I brought him home once he was ready for adoption. He was a very thin 45# and anxious. Today he is 79# and living his best life.

Spending the day prepping hundreds of dictionaries and bookmarks that will be distributed to 3rd graders in Boise. We tell the kids that words have power to make people feel happy, to give comfort and to give you confidence to speak up when you see something wrong.

It’s that time of year when my Rotary Club distributes dictionaries and bookmarks to third graders at several elementary schools. I’ll be writing each child’s first name in calligraphy in their dictionary.

I just finished reading this book and the parallels to the MAGA movement are stunning.
And apparently has been for a very long time. Recently listened to this book about the KKK and it was eye opening about how they infiltrated government in Indiana.
