As once again Thoughts and Prayers do nothing to stop the bullets, everyone outside of the USA shakes their collective heads and wonders why Americans "wonder why"

@trevmu10.bsky.social This bin is blocking the cycle path on the red route in Lewes Rd. Each time its emptied it seems to move further out in the road, and now presents a hazard to cyclists and vehicles. Cyclists have to swerve into the traffic lane @batbrighton.bsky.social @brighton-hove.gov.uk

So the bin has now been moved to totally block the bike lane and is actually in the road. There is space for a whole van width behind it in the layby. Any further out a car is going to hit it. Its too heavy to move back by hand (ive tried)

Red routes on Lewes Rd make cycle lanes much safer, a massive improvement on having to dodge parked vehicles
Can this communal bin be moved OUT of the cycle lane and next to the recycling bins, Its dangerous as cyclists have to swerve into traffic
