Corporal Arthur Johnson died, aged 21, on 21 March 1918. He is buried in Arras. This is from his parents’ grave. Here, we learn that Mr and Mrs Johnson lost their daughter, aged 11, in 1905, and their son in 1918. Mrs Johnson was 59 when she died in 1930. She must have been around 47 when Arthur …
