Bandcamp is an excellent route for connecting with fans which offers streaming and both digital and physical purchases from listeners if you’re able to accommodate that! I personally use Tidal for other streaming which pays artists considerably more than Spotify

If like 10 people buy a cd or digital album from you you’ll make more money than from a year of streams on Spotify

Switch to Tidal, Qobuz, or Bandcamp. Spotify sucks

Yes definitely, I’ve used Tidal for many years and the sound quality is much better, app is less bloated with AI bs, playlists and music recs are much better with human curators for many things, they pay artists significantly more as well
