During my initial Texas review, I missed three great candidates that have now been added to the Texas slate.

This info-graphic shows the Secular Lefty approved campaigns worth supporting in Texas. They have 38 congressional districts and one senate seat up for election. I Secular Lefty, identify 15 candidates for the 39 Texas seats available that are worthy of our support. They are: TX-04 | Jason Pearce TX-05 | Chelsey Hockett TX-06 | Danny Minton TX-11 | Claire Reynolds TX-13 | Mark Nair TX-18 | Christian Menefee TX-21 | Regina Vanburg TX-23 | Gretel Enck TX-24 | Kevin Burge TX-27 | Tanya Lloyd TX-28 | Ricardo Villarreal TX-31 | Justin Early TX-32 | Anthony Bridges TX-33 | Zeeshan Hafeez TX-34 | Etienne Rosas TX-35 | Whitney Masterson-Moyes TX-37 | Greg Casar TX-38 | Theresa Courts All of these candidates support to some degree a single-payer health insurance program, raising the minimum wage, ending US support to Israel for their genocide of Palestinians & ending that support to all nations who violate human rights, abolishing ICE, & impeaching the Trump administration. Some of these candidates have been endorsed by the organizations listed: Track AIPAC, Our Revolution, Justice Democrats, Citizen's Impeachment, No Dem Left Behind, & Leaders We Deserve. These 6 organizations have helped me identify candidates worthy of a spotlight & support. I Secular Lefty, am not affiliated with any campaign or political organization. I do this of my own will to provide information to voters of the best candidates determined by the information I have available and my own political beliefs. This info-graphic provides more information on the 2026 primary election in the state of Texas. From the website Ballotpedia, they inform us Texas' primary is an open primary, meaning all registered voters may vote in any party's primary. To win, a candidate must earn a majority of votes, meaning they must get 50% + 1 vote minimum to win. If no candidate wins a majority, the top two vote earners go to a runoff election, scheduled for May 26th, 2026. From the National Conference of State Legislatures, they inform us voters have 30 days before an election to register to vote. Online voter registration is not allowed in Texas. Voters can not register to vote on election day. This Info-graphic provides details on the primary election for the state of Texas. Their candidate filing registration closed on December 8th, 2025. Their primary is on March 3rd, 2026 and is an open majority style primary. Texas has 38 congressional districts and one senate seat up for re-election.
