Exactly.. Out of shape, no expert technique, unmarked vehicles, no badges, and completely covered faces points to just that. I wonder if they weren't promised bounties if they would do the same. Or, go after real illegal criminals who might fight back. Chicken shit assholes.

Good for Governor Scott for being a representative for his constituents and all Americans. Maybe it will inspire a few Republican congressmen to represent theirs.

I fear that we are are very close to a similar moment. There seems to be very little public defiance by the youth, entertainers, and other public figures. It was earth shattering when Taylor Swift committed to a candidate.

The majority of the Democrats (and Republicans) seem to choose to stay in the background, afraid of offending anyone. There are a few such as, A.O.C., Bernie, Adam Schiff, Jasmine Crockett, etc. that have been very vocal.

With Fox "News" controlling such a large share of the market, they can control most of the narrative even if it is not true or accurate.
The mainstream news has just trudged along telling the "truth". They have not even tried to counter the lies. They even replay right-wing sound bites.
