Drag biological immortality out long enough and your chances of being in a fatal crash, being crushed, etc all just skyrocket from sheer chances. And even uploading doesn’t deal with the machine being answerable to entropy and physics. Whether we die from old age or with the universe, we die.

If she NEEDS a sidekick, why not that freelancer from the Nintendo Power comics for Super Metroid, Armstrong Houston? He wasn’t slapstick since the comedy was that he’s out of his depth and only motivated by bounties but still thought he could keep up with Samus’ fight with the pirates.
