Really interesting article, Paul, thank you. Of course the grifters calling for removal of environmental aspects of electricity bills are also calling for lower (their's of course) taxes! It's a very useful article in helping the discussion as to how we fund necessary action.

Please don't rule out EVs, most of Scotland is outwith the central belt. Many areas need more public transport, clearly, but will still need private transport too, and this should be decarbonised.
