I have finally seen my most anticipated movie of the year. And for once I was not disappointed. It manages to stay true to the spirit of Shelley’s novel, make some nice references to earlier films, and still be its own thing all at the same time. One of my favorites of the year.

I never thought I’d ever get to see this on the big screen in 3-D! 7 year old me would never believe it. Frankly (cough cough) aged me can hardly believe it.
