I went to UCI and the In N Out headquarters were across the street. And Denny’s was (briefly) in the same shopping center. And Del was two minutes down the street. There were options if you could scrounge for enough change.

That sounds right. I remember at some point years ago they introduced a sauce that was hotter than Del Scorcho, which I guess is Inferno. I do remember trying it but thinking Del Scorcho still had the better flavor even if it wasn’t as hot

I thought Inferno was a different sauce. I’d check my car but they were all stolen (someone was looting during the fires, go figure). I’ll go to Del Taco tomorrow and investigate

When I was in college, eating at Del Taco was cheaper than cooking for myself, so I ate there A LOT. And then for a while Denny’s had their Grand Slam breakfast for $1.99, and it was the best place to grab something to eat and study in the middle of the night since they were open 24/7

Del Scorcho sauce is the best sauce. I used to store extras in the center console of my car until someone broke in and took them all. They knew what’s up
