I use an auto nightly shortcut that moves all screenshots taken that day to a Files folder. It doesn’t erase the copy in Photos. I just know that I can safely delete any screenshot clogging my photo library as long as it’s older than one day because I have a copy elsewhere. Files search is good.

Worked perfectly.

Update: if this happens to you, call apple and tell them the package has been lost. They’ll “investigate” and the next day they’ll usually just process it. I guess they search it down or take the insurance payout. Either way, they usually make it right for the customer.

- new setup transfers are so nice and easy now. Passkeys help a lot too
- Went with a techwoven case. Real nice texture
- I take about two selfies a year so no comment on that new feature yet

A few more day one thoughts:

- runs much cooler than 16 Pro
- Silver looks so peak in person
- LOVE the 8x
- Held the Air and it was nice, but just can’t give up the cameras
- Need a new MagSafe stand because new plateau finally outgrew old one
