@brianrtw.bsky.social
you didn't point out what the gap is specifcally. it actually seems you are too lazy.

I don't think this is actually true, Truth Social has about as many users as Bluesky.

at least I can read 🤷‍♂️

You said you read the book but you don't even know what it's about, clearly you're the liar here 🤷‍♂️

He just wrote a nuanced post about this btw

A classic Bluesky move to block me after commenting on this. Must only let people respond with unwavering agreement!

In classic Bluesky fashion I've been blocked 🤷‍♂️

Why don't you let profoundly autistic non-verbal people speak for themselves @esqueer.net? Why don't you interview some and ask them how they feel about this? Invite them to post on Bluesky about their experience.
November 24, 2025 at 9:04 PM
"They spoke a lot to the parents of autistic children but almost never to the children themselves." OK why don't you speak to them? Where are all the profoundly autistic non-verbal people on Bluesky? People keep getting upset about this, but who are the big profoundly autistic Bluesky accounts?

"Cut back on immigration" lol. Show me the passages in the book that contradict his statements.
November 20, 2025 at 7:36 PM
No, man. First, the book was released in 2020, not 2025. And second, it was not advocacy for immediate political changes, it was long term ideas for retaining America's greatness. And third, he hasn't walked back or contradicted anything said in the book.

It's bad for democracy if Trump wins, and advocating a policy that raises that chances of Trump winning is bad for whatever liberal cause you're advocating.
In American, in 2025, winning is much, much more important than whatever extra marginally better position you want to advocate for.

Does this make Trump an enemy of abortion restrictionists? Shouldn't evangelicals have shown up en masse at Mar-a-lago during the campaign shouting, protesting and demanding that Trump sign a national abortion ban within his first hundred days? This is the kind of self-defeating stuff leftists do.
November 20, 2025 at 12:47 AM
I don't know what to tell you man, other than Republicans do politics a lot better than leftists do. Like do you think it was a betrayal by Trump that he didn't campaign on a national abortion ban, or promise to revoke Mifepristone, or run on making it a crime to cross states to get an abortion?
November 20, 2025 at 12:44 AM
I mean, did you read it? I've read it.
November 20, 2025 at 12:29 AM
Why do you think raising the salience of Trump's best topic would surely help immigrants? Likewise, do you think raising the salience of trans rights in the 2026 election would help trans people? It's nuts that you people can't identify with this kind of basic rational line of thought.

This article insinuates it's a UC-wide phenomenon, though I don't know how true that is.

No I'm just saying you're too dumb to understand the nuance of needing to compromise to win elections, for the broader good. It's a big problem with the left!
November 20, 2025 at 12:14 AM
See above. It's completely consistent to think/write that "if only people thought X we'd be a better country" yet not wanting to pursue X because in politics you can't just impose your beliefs onto the electorate, if you want to win.
November 20, 2025 at 12:13 AM
It's completely consistent. Like, I personally hate guns. I think the US would be radically safer and better without widespread gun ownership. But do I want Democrats to run next election on a big anti-gun platform? Hell no. Because I don't want them to lose the election, and that's a loser.
November 20, 2025 at 12:10 AM
That doesn't at all say? One Billion Americans was a general policy prescription, but it didn't get into political tactics. What he's been saying lately is that despite all the things, immigration is still Trump's strongest topic with the public.
November 20, 2025 at 12:07 AM
It seems covid had something to do with it, but why it hit UCSD hard seems to be a UC specific issue, at least that's the case being made here
November 20, 2025 at 12:05 AM
How are the VCs causing the poor performance of math students at UCSD?
November 20, 2025 at 12:01 AM
i think this is a poor reading of what he positions are, in both directions
